While New Vegas is certainly more stable than it's predecessor, it is not without it's faults. There are some files that cannot be installed via these manager, such as ENB lighting setups or various plugins for New Vegas, but so long as you follow all the installation instructions to the letter you shouldn't have any problems. It does take some knowledge about modding to use the FOMOD, but there are some excellent tutorials available for both FOMM and NMM to help get you started. However, the Nexus Mod Manager can get confused easy about mods that clash with eachother and has some issues wih load order which may negatively affect your game.Īlternatively, the Fallout Mod Manager (or FOMM) provides a suite of utilities to help you download and implement New Vegas mods. You just go to the nexus and download the mod clicking the green button, then install the mod directly from the manager. The Nexus Mod Manager is the easiet way to mod your game.
